Our Danbury Type 2 is a top specification RHD bay window camper. It sleeps 2 adults on the folding rear seat /bed and two children in the pop top roof. A drive-away detachable awning can be hired if additional space is required whether for sleeping in at night or relaxing in during the day. It is also an ideal way to de-clutter the van whilst touring.

09 VW Danbury T2

The 09 Danbury is a new VW T2, supplied in September 2009. These classic-style Type 2’s were manufactured by Volkswagen in Brazil until 2014. They are slightly re-worked from the 70’s VW campervan models, being powered by a rear-mounted 1.4 litre water cooled engine (a VW Polo engine) and have disc brakes. Fitted with and up-to-date, luxurious interior with modern facilities. It’s also quite nippy.

The standard specification includes a twin hob gas cooker and grill, an electric fridge, a sink, mains hook up, lighting 12v and 240v, storage, cutlery and crockery suitable for four persons, wash bowl and cleaning kit, interior table, radio and CD player, fire extinguisher, first aid kit and an island map.
