08 VW DANBURY KEY FEATURES:
Our Danbury Type 2 is a top specification RHD bay window camper. The full width folding rear seat/bed will accommodate 2 adults and the elevating roof provides another double bed “upstairs” for 2 children. The occasional rear facing table seat opens up to 2 seats, allowing 4 / 5 people to sit around the removable table.
A drive-away detachable awning can be hired if additional space is required whether for sleeping in at night or relaxing in during the day. It is also an ideal way to de-clutter the van whilst touring.
08 VW DANBURY T2
The 2008 Danbury is a new VW T2 – a re-working of the 70’s VW campervan models and manufactured by Volkswagen in Brazil. It is powered by a modern 1400 cc, water-cooled VW Polo engine and has disc brakes. This vehicle also benefits from electric power steering, making the steering light and manageable and an upgraded CSP gear shift, making it very easy to select gears. The van has slightly lowered suspension and runs on Porsche-style Fuchs alloy wheels.
The Danbury is equipped with a twin hob gas cooker and grill, an electric fridge and a sink. It has a 240V mains power hook up, 13 amp sockets fitted and a leisure battery. The interior is fitted with cream leather upholstery on the seats and comes with a stereo, fire extinguisher, first aid kit and an island map.
